RCEuro is continuing its series of conversations with Recruitment Thought Leaders. This series will be comprised of 10 minute video (or sometimes audio only) conversations between RCEuro founder Alan Whitford and the interview subject. We have a few 'in the can', with more scheduled.

We caught up this week with keynote speaker at Social Recruiting Conference 2010 in London on 30 November, Lennart Sloof. Lennart is Manager Online Employer Marketing (formerly known as ‘e-Recruitment team’) at Deloitte, The Netherlands. The Online Employer Marketing team is supporting the Dutch Deloitte recruitment process. The core business basically is online-marketing focused on Deloitte's requisitions and events.

Lennart has been involved with Deloitte’s social media recruitment from the very beginning. Building a new career site, creating a first social media strategy and measuring all online activities were the first online steps. By that time there was little frame of reference. Today his team is working on a daily basis on content management for the career site and all social media platforms. Everything is being monitored by Google Analytics, which results in optimization as a never ending process. Lennart and his team are preparing the Deloitte recruitment team to adopt these new online recruitment sources and make it part of their daily routines.

Lennart shares his vision for using Social Media, how they engage with existing employees and prospective candidates, the different sites used such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Hyves He will be sharing with us at the conference the measurements that he has put in place to assess the impact of the recruitment channels and delivering a full ROI for the team's efforts.

You can catch up with Lennart on Twitter: @LennartSloof or on LinkedIn.
