TruLondon II Day One on Thursday came to a close with the TruCurry tweetup dinner sponsored by Paul Stuurman of Knollenstein.
We closed the day in the Incisive Media board room, with Steve Boese and his #HRHappyHour Blog Talk radio show, 20 people in the room, doing a wrap up of the day.
What a day this has been. Over 100 people in the the sessions, the second Recruiting Unconference organised and hosted by Bill Boorman and Geoff Webb. What is an Unconference? The best description is organised chaos, with tracks (think of break out sessions at a typical conference) led by practitioners of blogging, social media, technology, HR and recruitment practitioners. The tracks are by definition inclusive, with the participants asking and answering the questions, driving the debate.
We started with TruSource yesterday, over 40 people in two rooms learning from the true gurus of candidate sourcing. Today, from the 09:00 start to now at 18:35, has been non-stop. Debate on GenY, Job boards, employment branding, sourcing, technology and more. Read the article with the tracks to get a sense.
Fish and Chips for lunch, tomorrow pizza. How 'unconference' can you get? Some more great tracks lined up: Sourceology, Mobile recruiting, LinkedIn for recruiters, Talent Puddle, Social media, and bloggers, to name but a few. There may even be a new 'secred track' featuring the Bald Recruiters.
The close of the Unconference radio show on Friday, at 17:30 GMT, RCEURO thought leaders, hosted by Alan Whitford, featuring TruLondon II organisers Bill Boorman and Geoff Webb, with selected track leaders and participants.
A ahort clip of Steve's show. The full audio of his show and the Talking HR show from Jon Ingham, hosted Friday morning at 07:30 can be heard in our Audio/Video section below.

I’ve just taken part in the monthly twitter chat, #TNL, hosted by Craig Fisher. (@fishdogs).
